Awareness session for feeders

A public engagement collaboration by Welfare of Stray Dogs (Mumbai) and ROH-Indies

In collaboration of the Welfare of Stray Dogs, Mumbai, ROH-Indies has initiated public engagement activities to prevent and address conflicts related to street dog feeding. These activities, targeted at members of the public, are focused on i) cultivating better understanding of the complex, multiscalar, ramifications of feeding of free-living animals, ii) refining and disseminating protocols for responsible feeding that enables multispecies health; iii) developing strategies for managing social conflict around feeding.

This first activity took the form of a workshop on the 19th May 2024 in Mumbai, with participation from people involved in feeding street animals in different parts of the city.
