This workshop, which took place in Edinburgh from the 2nd to the 4th of June of 2026, brought together key dog welfare and management stakeholders and funders to put into conversation current policy and field concerns with our research findings.
The main objective of the workshop was to collaboratively identify lasting and high-welfare strategies for multispecies health. Members of the ROH Indies team presented select aspects from the project’s disciplinary work packages, and through a series of curated activities, invited deliberation by participants. Deliberation revolved around practitioner and funder feedback and inputs on project findings as well as discussion on how findings can be translated into policy and practice.
